Glad I rechecked this thread, not sure why but I thought for sure that the meeting was every 2 weeks. I was getting ready to roll up there in a bit.

I am planning on it but will be a few minutes late.

Here is the summary of the April 19, 2016 meeting:

Attendees: Greg, Todd, Andrew, Ryan, Leon, Darryl, Tracy, Cody, John

Old business:
- John (Spadone) added as TLCA Delegate (alternate); the TLCA BOD teleconference is the last Tuesday of each month (will be 26 April 2016)

- Cody (wpsfan) investigated setting up a CLC HAM instruction class for non-licensed club members. A “club class” for Technician licensure is not going to happen. However…see new business.

- John (Spadone) attended the Rising Sun 4x4 Club meeting (on/about April 13th).

- Andrew has the fB account. Members are encouraged to post stuff there to keep it current.

- The April trail ride was cancelled due to weather. (Shelf Road, 16 April 2016)

- In March, we talked about defining the "goals and vision" for the club.

New business:

- The CLC webpage needs to be updated.

- CLC needs to submit the “Chapter in Good Standing Form”.

- John (Spadone) created a Meet-Up page for Colorado Land Cruisers. URL= Colorado Land Cruisers

- The club address in TLCA records (as well as Toyota Trails) is a Woodland Park address. Suggestions: (1) list a current members' address, or (2) purchase a Post Office Box.

- Tracy will lead the committee for a summer BBQ. July?

- May 14th is the annual meeting for the Colorado Association of Four Wheel Drive Clubs (hightrails.org).

- At a date TBD, the club is going to host a "tech" event where Leon will provide an overview of HAM radio--capabilities, advantages over other radios, etc. This will be an information and practical demonstration event, but not a preparation for FCC licensure.

Next Trail Ride: Saturday, May 14th, Medano Pass.

Next club meeting: 7pm on Tuesday, May 17th, at LHM Toyota on the southside.
