1997 Toyota Land Cruiser LOADED needs engine work

Says it is pending sale...but darn, sounds like a pretty good deal pending any major engine rebuilding.

The other add said 3K not 3.5K.

That truck has been posted for quite a while and the lady seems to keep dropping the price. I thought it was interesting that she didn't mention the engine noise (??) until a more recent add. Based on the way 80s keep dropping, I think I'd find something else that doesn't need work and has lockers.

I agree,

With the price of fuel dropping I'm not sure how much more the prices will drop on them but you never know. There are some good bargains on good 80's out there. I'm waiting for the time I can hopefully trade this 4-Runner in on one. The 4Runner doesn't get that much better mileage. 16/20 if I remember correctly. I'm guessing the 80's are getting 13/16????

It wouldn't be a daily driver anyway.
