Hey guys!

Sorry for keeping you waiting for new photos but internet is still a luxury in Central Africa. We have made it to Namibia by now after an amazing time in Angola which turned out to be an overlanding heaven.

I will continue where we left off though. The newest blog entries can be found here.

The following photos are from the lovely country Guinea where you have to search hard to find a tarmac road. We blew one shock absorber and sometimes managed only 70km in 7,5 hours. For more details you can read the Guinea blog entry!

Very cool. Hope to one day travel through Africa, but first I need to get the Troopy ready and then South America will probably come first. Enjoy your trip.

Sierra Leone surprised us immensly with its forward looking people and livelyness after a long civil war. The capital Freetown is especially cool with its location on several hills right at the ocean, way too little and narrow roads for the immense amount of traffic and the whole city centre being kind of a sprawling market. Getting out of town took us 4 hours though. The beaches south of Freetown must be some of the best in the world with barely anyone around during the week and a relaxed vibe. Jasmine got Malaria which knocked her out for 4 days and we went to Tiwai Island where primates and monkeys find a refuge in the middle of a wide river.

For more details you can read the blog entry.
