UPDATE: Turns out Patti's sister and hubby are coming from back east to visit so we'll be only there from Fri evening to Tue morning camping before heading home. If anyone still wants to do an extended trip, you're welcome to plan a route.

Patti & I have taken the week after the long weekend off, so we were thinking of taking an extended Churn Creek trip this year. But only if anyone else wants to tentatively (or definitely) commit to also taking the full next week and doing some exploring. The route is still in planning, just wanted to see if there's interest. I'll bring my Starlink as I'll need it for work, so we'll always have internet.

Well, I’m definitely not going so just

Was hoping to chat tomorrow. Looks like I wont make the meet. Might not be in town that time period in May. Its all :hmm: just now. Snow would be a deciding factor, I would think, that time of year in accessing the plateau depending on where you are thinking of going.

It's a typical trip planning thread; everyone just 'shows up'. So yes, post a route and some more details would be great.

Few things up in the air, but I am keeping an eye on this :)

We're in, arriving Friday

Apparently I'm not going....

Waiting on some new suspension as mine is uhh...not good
What are you getting? Im shocked that set of springs survived the 'Great Steiger Family Truckster Rubicon Extravaganza' years back...

Im sick of the gut busting ride the TJM XGS Gold stuff I have dishes out....

Oh they didn't. I did get some new OME shocks sometime after that, and then a few years back some "newtome" coils. This will be the first complete new suspension on it since I've had it in my ~18 years of ownership. Went with a 2" Ironman and foam cell pro's from Jason. Hope ya’ll have/had a great weekend.

There were moments, lost a few fibreglass poles. New screw in tent poles are amazing

Starlink.... now we're camping! :)
