Last year a group of members went out together to get trees in the snow. Are you planning on doing the same this year? I might be up for it this year but can't this coming weekend as we'll be out of town Sat/Sun. Any interest?...... Kief?....... Anyone?......

I was just thinking about this today... Weekend after thanksgiving sounds good. Same place? I wouldn't mind looking around a little more than I did last year. I think I could find a better tree.
Saturday the 5th would work for the flyrod family. There are good trees off of dead Indian and above Prospect. But we will travel with the group.
I can say true to off of Dead Indian, I've been up there before.

There is an area that was a "test" area up Tolman creek road. I'll go up and check it out it might be a good choice also. If we want a snow run as well then I can tell you there is plenty up Dead Indian. I drove over it Wed and it was quite slippery.
G Double what about that spot up Spencer Creek there were quite a few last year that were almost ready. But I'm partial since it's one of our local stomping grounds in the winter months. 
wish I could make it, but am headed for mountain home idaho to get A/C installed and relocate my compressor to engine area and get back my console!!! Hope ya all have great success. May be asking where the best spot was for when I do return.

That area is still available Travis but not sure how picked through it is. Granted there are a bunch of trees right there.
I picked up a tag today. I am open to going about anywhere. I would like to get started by 10 if possible. We have a party to attend in the evening.
If we want to hit up Holcom peak on Spencer creek then we can meet at my place at 10. If you guy's would rather hit up another area that's cool too just keep posted.
Not sure at this point. The wife is working, my cruiser is getting the track bar redone (it wasnt me . . .), and we'll see the state of the kids at the end of the week, lol.
If next weekend will work better for everyone that's cool too. It sounded to me like G double probably won't be able to make it this weekend either...

I need to go this weekend otherwise my wife may just bring home a store bought tree. We always get a tree the weekend of Thanksgiving so I'm already under the gun as it is.
I will see what's up for this weekend, I might be able to go if it's up Spencer.
