Test drove the mangled tire today and felt no weirdness, and it didn't leak any air all week. I do need to change my diff oil.

Looks like recovery from the sinking of the USS 80 is at an end, $700 later. I had a muffler shop replace the studs for the 02 sensors today. Other than an exhaust rattle that might need a second look, it's purring like a kitten again.
I think I'll just stay out of the water....
