I got the LED lights from home depot...low wattage requirements...Think it was 6.00 a set so got two...and tested to make sure my inflatable grinch would run off inverter while driving...now to figure out how to secure it to roof. Hopefully our speed is like 1-2mph.

battery operated LED christmas lights are sold at Home Depot if you dont want to do the inverter thing. Wife bought two sets for plants by front door...multicolored or white....8 foot strand and uses AAA batteries (3 each).....and will run for a couple days without turning off....very low power requirements. $6 a strand if I remember right...there were about 15 boxes there last night late.

The Florence Home Depot didnt have any so I got some from Big Lots.....Sounds like the same kind, L.E.D. with 3 AA power....It'll look swell....I'm excited about driving the back roads to get there...Keeping my tractor off the interstate...

moving lights those candy cane ones hahah

I forwarded an e-mail to our site that tells about the parade.Ron, if you can send it out, thanks.
We can meet about 4:30 from Houston Northcutt.I would say to meet out by Melvins, and go as a group to get in line. We're towards the back, so we will have time to get ready.
See you guys Sunday!!

I just got my schedule and am off on Sunday. If you have the space I can drive the 40 since it is back on the road. If not I will be watching everyone pass by.

We'll always make room. come join us

I will send out the email today DBENKE....

Everyone remember your lights.... MAGLIGHT is going to try and drive up from Beaufort but he has duty all day Saturday through Sunday morning....so told him not to push it if he was tired as we appreciated his desire to be up here.

Thanks! Should definately be a go unless something stupid pops up at work. I could have the pleasure of being the only person to break down on the parade route. :flipoff2:

I just invited BBQ Boy to bring his 40....I know you're reading this BBQ Boy so now you have to come.....Especially since you live close by.....:)

If my 40 is ready in time I will try to make it. I will see if my neighbor who has a 40 wants to drive too.

If someone would give me an address I'd be happy...I googled Melvins and came up with 538 Folly Road...If thats correct then good....If not let me know.....Of course I could tell the bride I need a new GPS to find the parade.....:hhmm:

It's on Houston Northcutt in front of Whole Foods on Hwy 17. There's a Wendy's and a Hardee's on the Hwy there

Thanks David...I thought I might be on the wrong side of the water on Folly road.....That would have been a long wait for everyone else to show up....

BBQ Boy, Isnt Bessingers your BBQ?

Be there between 4pm and 4:30pm to stage and get together. Then we will go in convoy to our official staging location for parade as dictated by our group number that David has registered.

Here is map of Melvins location so nobody heads to Folly Road or goes to Bessingers on Savannah Hwy by mistake....long wait but you wont go hungry at least. LOL

Melvins is closed on Sundays.:crybaby:

I'm gonna bike over and help you guys get your rigs set up. My wife and I are expected at an annual pre-game Mt.P Xmas parade party which usually ends up somewhere around Art's so I'll be on the sidelines  to you as you pass by.

Love Tractor, are you going to come ride with us.

I got an 8 ft snowman for the top of the 62. Should be cool with the Grinch and snowman.
