Hey all, Hopefully im posting this build in the right spot. My brother is on this forum (JJY93) and thought i'd join and make a build.

I bought my 2007 Dual cab Hilux Sr5 1 year ago and slowly its progressed and is getting to how i like it, I still have loads i wanna do, Tube bar and lockers etc but it seems to do the job good for now.

Heres some pics back when i first got it. First thing i did was powdercoat the rollbar, It already had the bullbar uhf etc..

Then i sprayed the stock wheels black and also had the procomps fitted before this.

Then i fitted some -13 offset steelies to give it some stance

Made a mount for my Hilift jack and sprayed the hoop on the bar black..

One poor guy had a rollover on the trip..

Then came time to do away with the strut spacers and fitted a pair of Caloffroad Bilsteins/Toughdog Springs these lifted it close to 3.5" over stock..



Also got a Buds Customs bash plate to replace the mangled stock one..

Got a new grille and some seriously gay carbon eyelids these are now gone



Next i built a Roofrack to hold my rooftop tent for camping (pics with tent later on)





I even got a back page in a magazine with it haha

Then i got stuck half up a track with a busted CV :whoops: Had an 82 hilux on 37's drag me to the top..

The cv bent my strut when it broke too..

Then Buddy at buds customs designed a 10mm plate gearbox transfer so i scored the prototype also grabbed a sump plate off him..

Underbody protection... Loves rocks.

Then i bodylifted and did away with the front bar, Doing a tube one to suit one day.

Also fitted the Halo headlights.

New pioneer dvd headunit, speakers and sub fitted.

Then i ordered Monster Rides diff relocation brackets to fix the nasty cv angles..

Knocked up some new heavy duty sliders to suit the bodylift..

Then i fitted some 285/70/r17 procomp extreme mt's to 17x8p10 steelies, these will allow me to upgrade to Prado brakes later on.

This is my roof top tent setup, Used it for Tuff Truck 2012 Trip and also for Easter at Stradbroke Island.

I hate builds like this. I think I'm content with my Tacoma then I see this bad ass hilux and I start dreaming all over again. Truck looks great man, whats the future plans for it?

Haha thanks bud, Id love a Tacoma though if it didnt cost so much to get one here id have one. Future plans are tube winch bar on the front, Quarter chop tub with a bar to suit and twin lock it... $$$ are the big killer.

Hey mate just a quick question what rim offset are u running on the 285/70/17 ????? Cheers
