Inspired by a Facebook group member, I ripped off the carpet on the tailgate panel and re-applied with a cut-up $24 rug off Amazon. Used beige edge trim from Amazon as well. It isn't perfect, but it works. Took a few hours, mostly because the staple gun I have is pretty terrible. I probably wasted about 60 staples.

Do you happen to have a link to the rug you used? I love the look!

Reutilized my courtesy lights, which have been unplugged and taped up for dunno, a year? Amazon L brackets and rock lights (red, for bugs). Used strong magnets, so I could relocate once I get my sliders made and put back on. Kinda nice it comes on when you unlock the 100 with the keyfob. Also, new Teqcustoms headlights and roofrack.

Sorry for all the questions but can you tell me what rock lights these are? Also what are the courtesy lights you refer to that you repurposed? Really dig the idea and how they turn on when you unlock with the key fob. Your rig is perfect IMO.

Info on your roof rails?

I see you have the Sherpa listed, but most recent pics look like what appear to be flush mount rails in the gutters.

That is something I’ve been trying to find since deciding that I don’t need a full on roof rack. Was considering the ProSpeed.

The Lexus had white courtesy lights on the factory running boards. I kept a OEM connector off the running boards when I threw the boards away. I bought cheap rock lights off Amazon, and then wired them up to plug right into the existing factory wiring (re-utilizing that OEM connector) so it behaves like the factory OEM running board lights. So they still are able to turn on when you unlock the vehicle, which how the OEMs behaved.

I still plan on running additional rock lights that are switched and white in color, but still figuring out best placement in the wheel wells.

It was Plaidwagon's personal roof rack, but I took the crossbars off so I could fit in my garage. Prospeed is a good option and very low profile.

Added the MSS-L Spoiler from The Artisan Garage (collab with Lumberjack Engineering). Moved my internal chase lights to the spoiler. There's a center section and 2 outer sections that bolt up together for the spoiler. Ended up coating the outer sections black. Wired it up by slicing a little slit in an existing wire loom that feeds back into the upper cargo section inside the 100. Had existing wiring coming from my old set-up that ran the length of the vehicle from back to front and OUT the firewall to the engine bay to my Auxbeam switch controller.

Awesome thanks for the info! I dont believe my LC had those courtesy lights on the running boards. The PO removed them and I dont see any wiring hanging around. I really like that setup. Wish I could duplicate it somehow.

I might end up selling both actually. Keep you posted. Might be real soon.
Haha. Damn. I’ve been messaging Plaidwagon to try and build me a set. If the Sherpa sells first I’ll by the plaid wagon rails. Haha

Been doing a piss-poor job of updating this thread.

Recently followed the "get more rear down-travel" formula of throwing 80 series shocks and springs into the 100, moved the lower shock mounts up a few inches. Work performed by KP Offroad in Pomona, CA.

1) Radflo rear shocks: 26.1" extended, 16.5" collapsed
2) Dobinsons C97-147VT with 21" free height, the 2.5" springs (dual-rates)
3) Slee Coil Retainers
4) Bumps were already shimmed
5) Deleted rear sway
6) Extended lines (breather, brake).
7) Ended up getting limit straps.

Pardon the rust.

Apparently there's some usable shock travel remaining but Tanner @ KP said the springs were loose, hence the straps. I haven't had time to really investigate and articulate the suspension just yet. TBD. I intend to squeeze out as much as I can.
