I'm trying to make up my mind what I want to do with the flares off my 80 series. Let me know what you think or extra insight I should know.

1. Some type of bed liner -- I think Line-X can be colored, how would the stock 6M1 green look with it, or a sliver to match the door moulding?

2. Strip, primer it my self and have somone shoot the original color back on -- single stage or base clear?

3. Strip it, primer, and use a rattle can type paint myself? -- I've considered the Dupli Color auto paint or maybe, maybe the same Rustoleum hammer finish I used on my bumpers.

What do you guys think, any other options I should consider?

Thanks!

If your 40th is like mine I'm thinking that a light charcoal hammer finish would contrast nicely with the green paint and the charcoal body molding that runs the length of the doors. I'm actually considering coating my flares and everything below the molding with speedliner. Make sure you post pics no matter what direction you take.
