All,
Sorry for posting this so late, but I just came across it. If anyone is interested in going with me, let me know. I thought wearing this year's Spring Tide Ride shirts would let people know we're supporting the cause. I also have a copy of the Draft Environmental Impact Statement that needs comments before May15, if anyone would like to read some 500+ pages of data, tables, graphs, and alternatives to the current plan. Now's the time to speak up or shut up about beach access...
We urge all people who are interested in maintaining open access to Cape Hatteras National Seashore to make their views known by submitting public comment via the below links and attending a hearing style public meeting. Those meeting dates, times and locations will be announced soon.
Raleigh, NC – Wednesday, April 28, 2010, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
McKimmon Conference & Training Center (NC State University Campus),
1101 Gorman Street, Raleigh, NC 27695
(Doors open at 5:30 pm for sign-in, the meeting will begin at 6:00 pm)
