Went romping yesterday finally was confindent enough to do Chiva. Have done Chiva in the past in my old ZR2 blazer(which was very scary). This time was much more fun, Chiva was still running, and the area was beautiful. The only part I did not enjoy, was seeing all of the trash. If only every OHV user picked up a few pieces of trash, or even one, there wouldn't be any. So as we saw trash along the trail we would pull over and pick it up(almost a whole garbage bag full:mad: ). But any how, it was the late afternoon when we approached three feathers and there in the distance on top of it were a few vehicles( I believe 4 modified jeeps, and the vehicle w/ UFO written on it) and a finish line attached from one jeep to a mesquite. So I did the middle run for thoughs folks w/ my no grip stock bridgestone duelers, low and behold a-trac blasted up the obstacle like nothing. Everyone was cheering, and one of the jeeper said that they speak tequila around these parts. He then lifted the finish line for me as I passed him. FJ cruiser proves it a bad a$$ stock vehicle w/ no mods once again:cheers: Just recieved my black 16" rockcrawler rims, tomorrow I will have 285/75 r16 installed and soon after that(hopefully)I will have my OME lift put on!!!!See ya on the trails

Was the UFO a blue and black old Dodge p/u? If so, that dudes a numb-nut that hangs out there all the time. He runs one or two lines on 3-Feathers, then hangs out and drinks beer all day. He usually has a couple of jeepers around with him.
Supposedly, I get my gears and front locker in next tuesday. So I should be able to finally wheel again soon. :)

The UFO kind of looked like a GMC jimmy or k5 blaze maybe it was a dodge modified, that's hilarious anyways. Just got the bfg all terrain installed w/ 16/ steelys(looks very militant and ready to romp)Need to get my lift then I will consider 34 or 35" tires will see how the gearing is tonight w/ the 33's. I don't understand why toyota did not put 33" tires w/ 16" wheels on the FJC standard, it looks sooo much better. Good luck w/ the locker install looking forward to seeing your rig:cheers:
