Sorry group if this has been covered before but I am a newbie...I have seen a couple of companies selling engine management chips and would love to know if there is anything out there that actually works. Currently running a K&N filter with zero noticeable change. Looking for horsepower and better mileage...HA! Who isn't??!!
Thanks in advance,

Search is your friend.

More than a few threads on the Uni and Jet chips, and the results looked to be underwhelming.

The DT headers seem to be the best performance upgrade of recent days and some new exhaust options are put there now.

There are some spendy supercharger options and Slee offers a turbo.:meh:

I'd be interested to see if any of the otherwise forgone chip options would be able to squeeze a little more power out of the cruisers with headers, cat-backs and intakes. I'm not optimistic, but it shouldn't be that difficult really.

I think if the chips are fixed maps then probably not a great match. To take advantage of the flow improvements correctly you would want to be able to tune the maps to your exact engine and set up.

Give Slee a call, they use a tuning computer on their turbo setup, so they may have some info on tuning options:meh:
