Well, me and a few new friends from the MeetUp group ColoradoJeepPeople went out and hit-up China Wall trail today.

Met at the gas station at 0900, left just before 10.

It was me in my FJ80, 2 guys in modded Pathfinders, a built-up TJ and a stock Disco.

We all had a blast...the group had no break-downs, and it was a fun time with some new friends.

TrailDamage.com lists the trail as a 3-5...but I think it's a solid 3 for sure. Maybe a 5 if it's snowing :)

The obstacles aren't really that difficult, however there are some fun lines that stretch your suspension pretty well. No body damage to speak of- just some scratched up bumpers on the Pathfinder and the Discovery.

I don't think I'll be going back to this one anytime soon...just not really worth the 2 hour drive from Denver for 4-5 obstacles and the scenery isn't a good depiction of how beautiful Colorado really is...but the trail does have some decent camping sites if you're looking for a relaxing time away from Denver and all of the traffic - even on a holiday weekend it wasn't too busy!

Here are some pics of today's fun!

The Pathfinders were well equipped, and the Jeep did really well too.
