What time you guys plan on leaving? Maybe caravan down there? Ideally I would leave work (Skokie) around 11:00 a.m. - but if you guys are going earlier I could possibly take off the whole day.

I don't think it's going to be cold, it's just a couple weeks away and pretty far south. I plan on tent camping.

A 5 hour haul flat towing could get interesting. I'm still debating on going. Do I sit in my warm comfortable garage or sit in my cold topless 40?

Yeah, we know....it goes with out saying...when you arent going to puss out of something then come back and post up.

whenever, I will have the day off.

Dont call me a mudder.

I may take the day off. If I do, I'll leave around sometime before 2PM. The day off thing depends on if I gain any vacation days working this weekend.

Listen here you day walkin' asswipe, I've got precious few weekends left to web wheel and your "off-roading "gets in the way. I'd rather just sit in my garage with a wrench in my hand listening to Toby Keith than your confounded motorized stupidity.

So when is everyone leaving?

I assume we would be taking 41 all the way down? Maybe we pick somewhere along 394 and shoot for 12:15 - 12:30?

I was thinking 49 to 74 to 63 but 41 might be better for those who live further east. The directions I got save about 1/2 hour for me.

Makes no difference to me. If I work the whole day i get out at 1:30 and could leave from Frankfort then, but if people are leaving earlier then i can duck out a little early, or even take the whole day off.
