im a newbie to the club stuff, i have a 78 fj40 that i used to drive daily until i got my corolla for cheaper commute, the fj has a shackle reversal arb air lockar in rear warn lockers in front, stock 2f motor de smogged and h42 transmission, mallory ignition, 4 wheel discs, mostly diamond plate tub as most of it has been gone from rust- which id like to change! and runs great considering the 360 000 some odd mile that are on it, i am the third owner the guy before me owned it for over 25 years, ive had it for 3 yrs in the spring, My name is Jarred Layne going back to college for nursing since im interested in medical but didnt enjoy heating and air, but dont want to be a doctor cause they are on call too. i am 21yrs old alway liked fjs one of my best friends which is like an older brother growing up had one and one for parts and his dad had one, my dads best friend also had one and i am currently looking for one for my dad but for under 500 dollars that is a worthy project, that is hard to find!

I think you will have a hard time finding a 500 truck as the will usually part out for quite a bit more than that. But you never know.

I do live just around the corner from you as I have seen your truck drive by several times. Stop in sometime. If my white tundra is there then I usually am to. The 60 only leaves on trailer now a days
