I put this setup together. Check it out tell me what you think. I thought it looked good. It's a 1-4 psi regulator with a 0-15 guage. Let me know if you need part numbers or if you hate this setup. Thanks

It's going to be on my FJ60 in about a day. It's made for a holley carb. it's not that big which is why I included the quarter to show size. I tried to get all black but they ordered the wrong color so I just took it.

So yes basically a tractor motor haha

So it's going in-line between stock 2F fuel pump and a Holley carb on a 2F engine? Just wondering....

I am running a weber 38mm carb. I am using this holley universal 1-4 psi regulator in order to keep to much fuel from being pumped into the carb. It will be between the stock pump and the carb.

Didn't Cagle make a fuel regulator that some put on the 2F? I heard it may have helped fuel mileage a bit.

I think they went out of business.

Was a fuel regulator w/ a vac connection.
At high throttle (low vac) fuel pressure was unregulated.
At idle (high vac) pressure was regulated way down.
Nifty gadget.

How does it work? What does it do?

From what I've heard and know, the stock fuel pump on my FJ60 puts out a little too much fuel pressure for my Weber carb. to handle. Basically it keeps pumping and pumping into the bowl. By having an inline pressure regulator it allows you to set the desired psi. I've also heard of people adjusting psi depending on what they are doing for example rock crawling versus highway driving. On the setup I took a picture of, it actually should have the in line on the bottom and the out line on the right or left. I was just screwing it together but found out with instructions that I was incorrect.

If anyone reads this and I am wrong correct me.

Hijack, Jim, doesn't the stock return fuel line do the same thing, lets excess gas return to the tank at idle so you don't overrun the float bowl.

fjdemon, great looking regulator. How do you plan to mount it. I ran a Holley carb for a few years, and had a cheap ass reg on it. But it just hung on the gas lines by the valve cover. It bothered me, chipped the vlave cover and I always hoped it wouldn't rupture the lines.

My reg was off the vehicle for a short while, when I put it back on after some intake work, it just started gushing fuel. The gaskets must have shrunk after they dried out, so I left it off. Never really saw a huge difference reged or not. But I did set up my return line. This was all on an FJ-40. Your 60 already returns excess fuel at the pump, so that is good. I found on my Holley, I could run it pretty low and still get good running.

I am mounting it to the inside of my drivers side fender well. There is an L shaped bracket that came with it. Then I am just running the in line up the bottom, I plugged off one side, and have the out line going up and back to the carb. Like I said I am not sure how much difference this will make either. I just heard quite a few people saying that they never got the carb adjusted right without one. I could be totally wrong. I'll get a pic today. So it is solid, doesn't move, doesn't hang. Easily adjusted.

That should work. From what I have heard Webers are more receptive to pressure regulation. Might be just right for your app.

Yes, there is a regulating orifice inside the pump that constantly bleeds off excess fuel pressure and returns it to the tank via that extra line off the pump.

Looks very pretty. I'd love to have something with a gauge I could put in my '62, just for s***s and giggles.

Anyone know what pump and fuel rail pressures are for a 3FE? Seeing this makes me want to do one up...

nice setup...

hey, did you setup work ?

i hv the same carb with flooding issues.
does your regulator hv a flow back to the tank ?
