While on a trip to Louisiana this past weekend the above lights came on. I didn't notice any change in how the truck drove and went through the process of slowly opening the fuel cap thinking it was an evap issue because of the heat. When we got back home, I unplugged the negative terminal for about 15 minutes, plugged it back in, and then we drove for about 15 minutes before the lights came back on again. Now they're on every time I start the truck.

Has anyone else had this issue before and if so, do you have any suggestions on what it is? I'd like to avoid taking the truck to a dealer. I've searched the 100 Series Tech area and can't seem to find anything.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

If PSC stands for pressure sensitive cap, I think you're on the right track thinking it's related to the evap system or the gas cap seal. What were the code number(s). If it was my truck, I'd spend my time trouble-shooting the evap system and I'd start with a new gas cap.

Thanks. I haven't gotten code #s yet but about to head to the local auto shop to see if they can scan it for me. I was told a 1401 code is evap and probably is the gas cap. I'll run the codes and post up afterwards. Thanks for the help.
