Okay, who has the best prices on a complete brake rebuild kit for a FJ60.

calipers, shoes etc...

:D

Well let me state that the 2 most important things in a vehicle are the steering and the stopping. These are 2 places you don't wanna skimp on. I had the toyota dealership, they are part of our club, redo mine. It cost me a little more because of the labor but I know it is done right and if there is any problems all I have to do is take it back and they'll fix it. My rear drivers side brake on my 40 just locked up on saturday so I am gonna have to replace them. I should have done it when I bought it but just assumed the PO had maintained it. I was wrong. So just my 2 cents don't skimp on something that could save your life. Chuck

I am going to do it myself. I don;t trust ANY mechanic to work on my junk.

That being said.

As long as the wheel cylinders don't leak we will be fine.

NAPA wheel cylinders, shoes and hardwear kits are cool for the rears. NAPA hoses are the s***; great quality and cheap! I would only use OEM rotors, NAPA are crap. Wagner makes a good one but it is tough to find are costs more than OEM. NAPA brand calipers are crap. NAPA Beck Arnley calipers are OK but only a few $$$ cheaper than OEM if any. NAPA top end pads are as good or better than OEM for a little less $$$. NAPA MCs suck like Nolen. I would only use OEM or rebadged OEM.
