Cheap mount for maxtrax

I have a 100 series with a gamviti rack Does anyone have a good cheap solution that they have used to secure the maxtrax? Per the gamviti website there are a few options but none of them are particularly cheap and some are currently out of stock. I was hoping for a homemade solution to avoid...

I'm copying @geanes he mounted them right behind the fairing strapped down with cinch straps and secured with a short bike lock cable.

I came up with a theft-proof side-mounted solution that I can remove fairly quickly to fit in my garage. Laser-cut 1/8” steel bent in a couple places with lots of mounting holes in case I want to move it around. Forgot to paint them before they rusted so now they’re rusty but oh well.

The threaded inserts on the bottom hooks were to add thumbscrews to prevent rattling, but they’re not necessary. The knobs cinch the boards together tight enough.
