would anyone need parts for this rig? i wanna fly out and buy it. lemme know!!!! -sean

ps im gonna part it out! -sean

guess that tells you how much i want the body panels...lol. after i thought about it, i dont guess it would be worth my time/$ to go thru all of that. i bet someone local would benefit more.

if you're going to do that, i could deffinitely be interested in some things from it.

unfortunately i don't have the space [read: no garage] to store and deal with parting it out myself.

you can probably get her down more on the price as it sounds like she's unsure as to what it would need to fix it. if i had the room, i would have already purchased it :]

I find it hard to believe that there's "no rust" but then again stranger things have happened. From one poorly lit picture it looks great.

The body does look good. I have seen a lot of 60 that have been in this area their whole life with very litttle rust.

agreed. the only thing in and on my when i bought it was the mud from whatever ranch it used to live on. even the trucks that spend winters in tahoe don't seem to have any rust either.

yall get a list together, and ill buy the sumbitch, and we'll part it out. i just want body stuff. yall want the rest, post up here, and we'll part the thing. i talked to Mike, the husband. hes a gear head himself. he said he would rather it go to buncha guys like us, rather than selling it as a family rig. -other sean

BTW, it would be nice if someone lived in the area, and would let us sort it out there. ill buy the rig...!

ok - so what we need to do this is a place to house this. is there anyone around the bay area willing to do that? sean's fronting the money! thanks for doing the legwork on that. if we get a place, i'm sure it could be taken apart in a couple weeks max if enough people need things?

as for me, i'm mainly interested in interior stuff [inside panels, carpet, center console, seats and gearknob], front grille, headlight doors, and maybe the bumpers. i'd be happy to spend a weekend helping take her apart though. of course i'd pay my share for what's ripped off.

anyone?

I thought the same thing when I saw the posting in craigslist this morning.
Before anyone gets too excited, shouldn't someone take a drive up to see it in person to see how much is really salvageable? I don't mean to throw water on anything, but before I wire a grand to anyone, I'd want to personally (or have someone I trust) take a peek at it for me.

if we can work out somewhere to store it, i'd be happy to make the drive up to check it out.

without having a place to take it too, it wouldn't be worth the trouble though.
