Just got back from the entire loop 26 miles I believe, 6 1/2 hour drivetime starting from Golder Ranch Road. Will post pics on Monday or Tuesday depending on when they are developed(these are going to be awesome pics best yet). It was just my girlfriend and I, the trail is soo crazy it's the hardest trail I've ever done, I'm just glad my girl was able to spot me through the rough stuff. Probably the first FJC stock to go all the way through???? Half way we met some ford rockhoppers, w/ a couple jeeps. One of the cherokee drivers asked if I had seen the ultimate adventure FJ (of course i had) while he's asking questions my girlfriend notices that he has a FJ TRAIL TEAM shirt on(yeesssss!!!!!!). Everyone on the trail looked stoked to see a FJ, so glad I have the capabilities to run Atrac w/ diff locks or this would have been next to impossible. Almost dented my rocker panel again, next time I will have Demello sliders on my baby, TrAiLbUs Betsy. Got caught up for a few minutes in the "carwash" on my rear link almost bent it but came out unscathed except a few scratches to the skids/bumper, and an adrenaline rush!! A must do for hardcore 4x4 enthusiasts.:silly: I feel like this:silly: :silly: On trail too long I've got sea legs.

Great photos! That looks like a good area for winter time crusin. But a shot of coati mundi, I am jealous, never seen one in the wild. Thanks

very cool pics! My wife's HJ60 is named Betsy too...
no idea there were coatamundis in the wild in the US.

Great pics. I live in Oracle so usually run it from the north side with my '69 fj40.
Usually only once every 2-3 years or however long it takes me to forget how nasty some of those spots are. Hope to run into you on the trail someday. Have you tried the copper creek run to turkey creek? John

awesome photos...looks like a nice ride!!

Take the Copper creek rd out of mamoth (old mining rd) it will end up on the Klondyke side of Avaviapa canyon. Check out you're topo's. Last time I tried It alone, bad Idea. Better to go w/ a Group.
