Next sunday June 6th will be the next charlotte meeting. I had posted up about the car show at north lake on saturday but not many people seemed like they wanted to do it and I haven't been able to find out if they still do it. I was planning on going today but got stuck at work in the a.m. and i've been reserved for next saturday anyway.

So next sunday I'm thinking something closer to south charlotte since we haven't done that yet.
Angry Ales is one of my favorites down there and has a nice outside deck.


Let me know what you guys think and give me times.... i'm thinking mid day.
Bring the wife, bring the kids we always aim to include the family at meetings or events.
 
Actually I won't be able to make the meeting I just set....... and the weekend after that is the official club meeting and then tellico...... if anyone wants to set one up please do otherwise it will be the last weekend of the month for me:crybaby:

I saw you today over off of Runnymeade turning onto Barclay downs. I was behind you though a few cars. hard to miss that monster.

Well you know I do enjoy a good conversation :grinpimp:...... anyway unless my truck was driving itself it wasn't me, I drove the ranger to work today and most of the day I was driving a Dodge 3500 diesel.

I've never seen one around that looks like mine though... strange:hhmm:

Oh and I do need to get those ONSC trail stickers magnets off of you to give back to Greg. Maybe a beer sometime??

Al I have all the magnets here in Raleigh, I had miscommunicated a few things.
 
Yep, Greg was on heavy drugs and alcohol when I gave them back and had already blacked out. They're in his truck...

Hi guys,

I'm up for the car show Saturday if anyone can still make it. I'm also available for the meeting as far as I know. I look forward to driving my 40 and letting you guys look it over and sharing your opinions. Yotafan and I had lunch right after I got it and he had a chance to look it over. I had a new fuel pump installed (AutoWorks in Huntersville - LakeNorman's recomendation) so it smells less like an open gas can now.

Let me see if I can get away on Saturday morning...will post back here by Friday.
 
What time does the car show normally start??
 
This weekend is my twin girls' 5th birthday, so I am unfortunately out.
 
Here's an update on the car show that I was able to get from another car club I belong to in the Charlotte area:

"June 6th- Cars and Coffee at Panera Bread, Northlake Mall (9-11:00am). If you want a good spot, you might want to plan on coming earlier. Just a bunch of car nuts getting together."

With any luck I'll be able to attend from 9 - 10am on Saturday morning...

It really depends on what time my wife and I are going to hit up the white water center.
 
Things conspired against me and I wasn't able to make Saturday's car show after all. I hope we can go as a group sometime down the line and I'll have my 40 in more presentable condition (spent some time yesterday wiping down the interior - hope to wash, clay bar and wax in the next couple weeks).

I was there from 9 to 10... no cruisers though.
I did get the pleasure of seeing 14 riced out S2000's...... and then I washed my eyes out with whiskey
