Hey,

Figured this would be a good place to ask... I need to get a little bit (really, just a little bit) of paint repair work done on the FJCruiser. Do you guys have any recommendations on a decent body shop in the area?

I'd do it myself, but... I'd like the work to look original. I definitely can't do that.

Thanks

There's one on folly road that I heard is good and reasonable, can't come up with the name right now, though.

body work

thats probably stono body works, ask around.

pro tek in north charleston does excellent work

best around that i know of is norton and richardson in summerville

might want to check signature in w ashley also

Ross was the one I was thinking about...

Call Glen at LexTech, and the body shop is on James Island Glen told me about and I went there after some carnies (fair workers) hit the side of my truck and messed up the door and they fixed it free of charge since it basically just pushed the lip of the door edge in causing it to bind. I have seen their work and they do a good job and they are familiar with Toyota products

Not bad.... If memory serves, Glenn recommended Lewie & Sons. Does that sound right to you?

They are the best but a little on the high side. but like I said they are the best.
I will say this about them though. When I had my 40 I took it them to refit all of the doors. new weatherstrippings, fitment and a little body work. They never called me back.
