This is my first time on IH8MUD and I have an unusual request so apologies in advance! My fiance is a huge IH8MUD fan (cwags12) and recently finished a 3yr+ resto of a '78 FJ40.
We are getting married in Charleston on Oct. 12th. He would LOVE to have the Cruiser at the wedding, but the FJ40 (and we) live out of state. I attempted to find a way to have it shipped down and back for the wedding (the FJ is in Southern Indiana) as a surprise for him but my resident auto experts (our fathers) advised against it and I'm not about to disagree!!
If you've read this far - THANK YOU! I would love to incorporate a Cruiser similar to my fiance's into our wedding, for the weekend, or a day or even a couple of hours. I would of course be willing to pay for this. Having seen my fiance go through the resto process I understand just how much time, effort and care you all put into this so thank you for even considering.
Any and all advise / thoughts are MUCH appreciated.
