Hello all, I just bought a HJ 60 85 model 2H 4l diesel and love it but I am having problems with the charging system. Sometimes when I drive the charge light and the filter lights come on and the volt metre drops to around 10V. I have had to put the battery on the charger once and had the car jump started twice is this a problem with the battery or the charging system? Any help would be appreciated.

With mine, I had to clean the contacts on the alternator and on the battery. I tightened down the clean wire from alternator to battery. That helped keep my regulator reading steady and I've had no problems so far.
