Okay, okay... I sold the 80 and the 62 and I"m down to my '72 40, my '02 Tacoma Dcab and Lee's Nissan Quest minivan.

I'm thinking about going to synthetic engine and diff oil in the Taco and Quest as they are our daily drivers.

When switching, how should I go about it? I mean do I need to drain dino fill synth and then drain/fill synth again soon? What about the diff? Same treatment? What have you done?

Thanks for the info...

Jody.

You have to be very careful when switching to Synthetic. Follow these directions exactly:

1) Drain your old oil and change your filter like normal.
2) Instead of putting mineral oil in, put in synthetic.
3) Drive 7500 miles or one year, whichever is less, and repeat 1 &2. :^)

I would recommend Mobil 1, 5w-30, 10w-30 or 0w-40 with preference to the Ow-40.
