When my wife bought this GX470 there was 1 contact in the phone book for Betty. So with the color and that contact name, she was dubbed Champagne Betty.
Not much has been done to it besides maintenance. It's kind of the family truckster hauling kids to practice and her to work. Then the stock suspension went bad. It was riding around on the bump stops and very harsh.
So I came on here and did some research and ended up with Bilstein 5100 shocks and struts, Eibach 620 springs up front and Wheeler's offroad T12 springs in the back, which are also Eibach. I had Wheeler's use the lowest perch and I would probably do the next higher up perch if I was doing it again. It still has some rake, but it's probably where it should be if you aren't trying to level it.
Probably will be doing tires in a month or two, and slowly building it up for camping and such.
