I believe that is a 70 series. Available almost everywhere else in the world but the U.S.

To be precise its a 79 series( a troopy is a 78 series).The 75 series pick ups had the fold down windscreen which is no longer available.
The one in the pic is probably a Middle East spec vehicle because it has the little stand up badge on the bonnet.
If so,then its most likely a 4.5 ltr gasser as most ME spec vehicles are.
I was watching the news the other night and both sides are using cruisers.
They were also using 45 series with artillery mounted on the rear

tough trucks.
I continue to be impressed by the things that my mostly stock cruiser (this is changing) will do--on old 31" tires no less.

im not tying to tread steal but are ya tired of watching the news and those screw balls blowing landcruisers up or is it just me
i think it says a lot for the land crusier. those guys went after a good vehicle that could take a beating...you dont see those guys running around in too many heeps.
but, like you id prefer they didnt harm the cruisers in the process of war.
