I'm looking for a heavy duty transfer case to put between a 4L80e and my front and rear passenger side diffs. I can find a NP 241C with front passenger side output but it has center rear output. Can I run a rear center output transfer case to a passenger side rear diff axle? Custom drive shaft?

If not what are my options? Rebuilding the stock 3sp and connecting it with an AA adapter? Orion transfer case?

I don't need serious crawl ration but I do need it to be strong enough for serious torque.

i guess that all depends on what kind of length you can fit with your driveshaft. you could get custom shafts, but probably won't have much room for a slip depending on wheelbase

"serious torque" with a centered case and offset pumpkin is a disaster waiting to blow....

Orion will be much improved for torque handling, the stock case is significantly weaker...

or, swap to a centered rear diff or make one ;)
