the center diff. switch is a switch that enables you to engage you rear diffs in high gear as opposed to only engaging it in low gear. does anyone make this switch for a 99 100 series?
 
The center diff switch allows you to engage the center diff in high...this is stock from Toyota.

I have never tried to engage the rear locker (a seperate optional switch from Toyota) while in high.

If it isn't possible to engage the rear locker in high, I do not know of a switch/mod for the 100 that lets you.

Not possible to engage rear diff in high.
Rear diff only engages when in low range with center diff locked.

If you do the Pin 7 mod and are able to engage low range without locking the center diff, I believe you still cannot lock the rear diff without locking the center diff. But I don't know, because I haven't gotten around to doing the Pin 7 mod.

center diff swiich only engauges the transfer case to a locked up design((( is the same principal as a third member ))),it has spider gears that allow slippage between the ft-n-rear wheels when off to reduce binding on hard packed surfaces,, and when on locks the diff/case to 1to1 no slip ,,, yes you can modify the wiring to alow the axels to lock in any speed range high or low;

do you think it can hurt the truck in any way?

You can also install a switch that i know of for the 80 series but i need to know if there is one for the 100 series
 
I think all 100 series have the center diff-lock. It's pretty much mandatory for a full-time four-wheel drive system that is intended for serious use. Check for the button under your Hazard-light button. Has a diagragm of the four wheels with an X where the t-case is. ( why this is not next to either the rear-diff lock or the t-case lever is beyond me.) ( of course maybe it's the rear-diff lock that is in the wrong place. )

driving with the center diff locked is a sure way to blow up the front diff ,as i have replaced many that after the truck was detailed the wash attendent wiped the dash and pushed the button on accident!!!!!( on pavement).......... the swich should allready exist on your truck???. it is not hard to moddify the wiring to allow opperation iin any condition -------pin 7 mod is 80s only --------will have to come up w/a new name for the 100s

HI4LOW did those same procedure for center diff lock on our 100 series but the pins is located behind the glovebox (easy to remove) instead of the pedal cover.
