I had the transfer case actuator replaced in my 2006 gx470, and it will now lock the Center diff (I can feel it locking it, and it will scrub the rear wheel if locked on pavement). The light on the dash remains flashing, however. Does anyone know what this might be? Toyota dealership has stated they are not interested in even looking at it, and the closest Lexus dealership is 600km away.

You have two switches on the transfer case that tell the ECU what position the transfer's shift rails are in (green and black sheathing, respectively in image below). The one indicating you have locked the center diff has failed in yours. The other one tells when the transfer is in neutral. They are the same mechanical switch, with different connectors. The switches themselves are used in tons of Toyota trucks and they are common failures. The connector or pigtail is all that changes. Go ahead and replace both while you're up there.
