'99 LX 470 experiencing hesitation at various speeds on an on and off basis. Seems like it's misfiring but won't show CEL and when I went to Auto Zone the other day, It didn't show any codes besides:
C0278 :ABS solenoid relay current
C1253: Motor relay circuit current
So would these ^ codes cause the hesitation while driving? What shall I do about those sensors/relays?
Well today, it finally threw a CEL and besides those ^ , showed the following codes:
P0430: Bank 2 cat converter system
P0420: Bank 1 Cat system
Now I do remember taking the truck to one of the muffler shops about a year ago and I was told I need the catalytic convertors? I did put an injector cleaner at the time that might have fixed the problem for almost a year until today.
So the questions are:
What shall I do with my Cats (if they are bad) as they could be making the O2 sensors go bad (replaced two in the past 3 years)?
