CEL + 4Low + Multi Terrain Select + slip lights on. Code P0024

Purchased a 2010 GX460 from the original owner in December. Clean car, havent had any issues. Today I was driving home after a couple hour trip and the dash lit up. CEL + slip lights on, 4Low and Multi terrain lights blinking.

I pulled over, turned off the car, turned it back on, put it in 4low, and back out. No change. No noticeable change in power, no weird noises.

After I got it parked I ran OBD Fusion, and was getting code:
P0024 - Camshaft Position 'B' Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance Bank 2

Has anyone experienced this before?

I suspect it may be a bad actuator.

The car is with Lexus now, they are replacing the secondary fan under recall. I also swapped out the two passenger side solenoids to see if that throws a different code (or any code at all?). Will update as things progress.

Issue ended up being really easy to resolve.

I cleared the OBD codes, took it into Lexus for the recall work, then took it for a long drive. No issues, and it cleared the permanent codes. I pulled both passenger side VVT solenoids and flip flopped them.

Next day I drove about an hour south to look at a motorcycle and the lights came right back on, but the OBD codes were different.

I picked up two new solenoids from Lexus of Queens (they had the best price on them somehow) - and two because I broke one of the little plastic tabs that secures them to the pig tail - and installed in about 10 minutes.

After $230, and 10 minutes - 500 miles later and no problems.

Naw, it was a REALLY good deal on a '14 KTM 250XCW. Got down there and the vin was ground off. So, not such a good deal.

I ended up buying an '08 YZ125, then found a crazy deal on a '16 Beta 300 RR Race....so now I have two new dirt bikes. Got the YZ for a song so may just resell it for a small profit, or keep it to have a little guy.
