Can I have some suggestions on where to place this in my FJ62? Where do I start in wiring one up ???Any pics would be nice as well.

The CB's I've dealt with where pretty basic. Four connections. Ground usually black or a solid color. Positive is your hot running straight to the battery with the correct fuse. I run this through my fuse box. I just splice the hot wire in to a source that has power all the time like the ignition or headlights. The 3rd connection is the antenna and finally the microphone. As far as placing the unit I would suggest a place that will keep your eyes on the road as much as possible. Maybe right on top of the dash in the middle (velcro works) above the windshiels in the middle or under the dash next to the shifter. It could go right in the dash if you wanted to get fancy.

Push power (positive) directly to the battery which will help you get a lot `cleaner' DC current. Antenna should be as high-center as possible. Drill hole in roof for antenna mount is actually the best bet; I hate drilling holes too, but if it's done professionally and with a lot of care, this will help considerably.

While the best mounting spot for CB reception is top center it's the worst place to have an antenna ripped away from by a low branch or garage door. I would suggest mounting a metal plate atop your rig (or does a 62 already have a metal top??) so you can use a magnetic mount ... that way only the magnet lets go when you hit something.

yup, 62 is just like a 60, has a roof... my CB antenna is mounted on the back right on my 62, works fine, its like a 6 ft. whip I think, above the right tailight, pretty easy install, cause its all open back there.
