I feel like an idiot for waiting, but I kept putting off repairing the gasket between my cats on my '95. I banged the pipe that goes under the frame just behind the cats on a rock and popped the seal between the cats. It still ran ok, but not nearly as smooth as before. I blamed some of it on the winter gas, but even after the switch back, it just didn't have the same feel.

I finally just went by the local dealer and spent the $11.00 on the two rear cat gaskets and replaced them yesterday. A seriously 1/2:banana: job. Total no brainer. Everything is sealed up very nicely and the truck is significantly smoother. We'll see if the next tank is back to the mileage I was getting last summer. With the leak, I am about 1 mpg lower every tank. 2.5 mpg worse on the winter gas.
