Cat Converters.... (1 Viewer)

Anyone with old Catalytic converters lying around there is a CL post, in the "wanted" section for anywhere from $25- $50 for each one. I believe the 2 main things are that they be intact(no rattle cans) and also no "pellet" type cats(?), whatever that means. Extra bucks if you have some.

So, since they want intact converters I'm guessing they have some way of replating or recharging(?) the old converters for re-use?? Just wondering.

They are probably recycling them... I've recycled a few and they have paid 20-30ish... in the past.

From now on when I see one "laying around" I'll remember to shake it up, then bag it!
