My friend scott just took all his carpet out of his brothers 60 and cleaned it then sprayed it with some leather dye.
BLACK....
WOW, this was a fast and unbelievable upgrade that made this carpet look brand new in a matter of minutes.
Leather dye and a small glass container with a disposable sprayer. total cost...$20

Another method I have heard about:

Duplicolor makes a similar product you can get at most auto parts stores. My only concern is if it smells weird or chemical-y.

No smell or chemical wiffs. Leather dye!!!!
This was sprayed yesterday....It will be installed soon. It does take a few hours to dry.
