Since @FJinTegaCay didn't post an ad on our Clubhouse, we'll do it now!
Carolina Relic Run 2017 - June 9th-11th 2017
I know there are several of us that have committed to making this trip. And at least one LCLC Club President that is a little disappointed that the timing of the event conflicts with his other priorities... We won't hold it against him, though, but we will give him grief... This is who we are.
Who is in? Even if you don't have a Relic, you are welcome to come up, camp, and hang out. I don't want to discourage anyone. We have a lot of relics in the club, though, and a few of them even run! I'm planning to leave first thing Friday morning; I believe @ErikinSC will be joining me. We will take backroads all the way up and will drive slow. Like, no more than 55 mph slow. If this sounds like your jam, post up, and join us in the caravan.
I'd like to make sure there is space for all of us to camp together. If it's just Erik and I, it will be easy, because there's plenty of space. FJ40's are also a bit low on space, so it may help if we can conserve gear wherever possible. I will have no copilot this time, so I can carry a bit of extra gear. But not much. Like, if you need me to carry a screwdriver or flashlight, I can help.
