Tech content: the factory anchor points from the cargo area make great additional anchor points on aftermarket cargo boxes for cargo nets, barriers, etc. Please hold onto them!
There are lots of similar ones on ebay and amazon, but the factory ones have the benefit of stronger steel on the bases, plastic wear guards, coated hoops, small (6mm?) hole, and large diameter hoop wire.
If anyone has any factory cargo anchors that they removed and no longer need (say for installing a cargo box system), would you drop me a line wiith your asking price please? I'm finding them to be handy in my build out. I could easily use another 4-6 of them. Thanks!
