I am looking to get my carb rebuilt and i thinking of doing myself for satisfaction purpose's. What kind of job would i be looking at and how many banana job is this? Is there any good mechanical material you suggest i get to help with the process? Thanks ya'll.

One of the FSMs covers the rebuild completely. It goes over everything. I want to say it's the tan manual that covers maintenance and tune-ups. What comes with a rebuild kit is usually an exploded view of the carb, which helps, but not much - and I want to say that's what's in the Haynes manual, too.

One thing I'd suggest is to take photos of each stage of the rebuild and take notes. IIRC, the carb comes apart in three sections. Another suggestion is to get one of the Berryman's chem-dip cans - be sure you've got access to compressed air so you can blow all of that chemical out (and the chem-dip, by the way, stinks like hell, and it permeates EVERYTHING. Once you open the can, plan on smelling like that all day.)

Also, before your rebuilt and while the carb is on the truck and running, check all of the bushings for leakage. Bushings aren't part of the kit that I got, so if you find a leak, you'll need expert advice on how to deal with it. They are brass, IIR, so they shouldn't be too worn out - might expect that wear around 500k miles. Check for leaks anyway.
