how hard is it to rebuild a carb. I don't have dinero for a new one from trollhole right now. Especially since i am trying to scrape together the $$ to buy jlee's fenders. I have never done it before but i am to the point where i am willing to try anything. Rig keeps flooding out when i try to start it.

carb rebuilds are usually very simple.

The hard part is cleaning everything else (flushing tank/lines expecially if you find rust/trash/water)

I've never done an OEM yota carb but i've been into my webber.

Required no special tools. If it's coated in varnish you will need to soak it but if it has not sat for a prolonged period of time you should be fine with just an air compressor and spray carb cleaner.

best thing to do is take it apart on a clean flat surface so you can lay all your gaskets/parts out exactly the way your going to put it back together, especially when dealing with springs/needles/gaskets.

I will probably tackle it in a month or so. Just don't like the possibility of being stranded due to something simple.
