Does anyone have a car seat mounted in the second row middle seat? Looking at the seat bottom, it’s not level from passenger-driver side causing our child’s Clek car seat to sit uneven.

My wife and I prefer it there so that the front seats can be on their normal position. I have thought about using a towel etc to level the base out? As is, the seat sits on a “seat protector” from Target which is slightly rigid but not enough to account for the unevenness between the cushions.

One of my biggest gripes is the fold down middle seat section. The 100 series 60 split was far more rigid and secure since it was one piece back......

Any words of wisdom?

I had the same issue when I installed a car seat in the middle position. I tried installing a Nuna Rava with seat protector and it wouldn’t sit level. Then I removed it and installed a Clek Foonf with the Clek seat protector. Same issue, not level.

I guess you could try a towel to level it but not sure how that would affect the safety/stability of the car seat. Anyway I finally gave up and installed the car seat on the second row passenger side. This position also allows more rear view mirror visibility.

I ended up folding a towel and placed it on the PS of the seat. Sits perfectly level and is as sturdy as ever.
