OK - i'm also new to this - just did my first sprint triathlon in NJ last saturday and loved it - but realised that my crappy $100 mongoose from Walmart just won't cut it.
i am looking at roadbikes on ebay and also came up with a Cannondale R300 from '93 - see link below.
any comments/advice people ? I am 5'11" , and looking for a fairly lightweight roadbike - and cannondales/specialised seem to be the best options - but i want a cheap used one for now.
