Canadians coming to Surf N Turf?!?!

Canadians!,

I know a few people were coming from Canada to Surf and Turf but never have had the chance to meet them! I need a tailgate brought down I would for sure help out with gas on your longgggg adventure. Please shoot me a PM

Posted a the link where it might get some attention. Where is the tailgate located? Don't know how many are coming down this time, it's looking like fewer and fewer as it approaches. I was intending to come, but I think I'm out.

As of right now it's in Ontario N0H 1L0, Canada. But I can get it shipped any where in Canada it's just dealing with going over the bored which gets expensive.

Now that's getting complicated. The problem is I am 99% sure I am coming, but if work hits the fan, I am sorta hooped. I wouldn't want you shipping it across the entire country (not to mention it would probably cost a lot to ship it up to Northern British Columbia anyway) and then me not able to get it to you. If you could get it to a guy in a major city that is going down, it would be ideal, or even to someone along the border, I could pick it up on my way down, but if not, crossing over the border to get it yourself on a trip or meeting someway could be done a lot easier. I was thinking it might have already been somewhere in southern BC or Alberta where we could just stop by pick it up and bring it to you in Pismo. Let me know what you decide, I will try and help anyway I can.

I don't think Deny is going that route just being that it is easier to go 97 all the way down. Looks like Deny would get to keep a tailgate if I shipped it and he never came always a smart ... Hummm well Deny please let me know if you think you would be heading down that way. But if not could I have it shipped to your place?

You guys have no idea how much I appreciate this if the deal comes through.

BTW The shipping difference from Edmonton, Albert over Fort St John, BC was about a 10 dollar difference it looks like.

At last thought I was planning just hammering down just the BC route, but we did have a plan to do a loop around Vagas, I even was thinking about hitting the rubicon trail at one point, but looks like a lot of people are pulling out, I may be the only one going. As of right now, I am 99% sure I am going, but I will give you my delema I am dealing with:

I have an some Environmental Supervision to do on a pipeline construction job coming up that although I can't keep my back-up there very long cause he doesn't have the experience, I can take off on for a while. Now I also have a reclamation project to be completed shortly, but we may run out of time cause the snow will be flying shortly and things have really gotten complicated cause the Landowner just had rush heart sergery which throws a wrench into things, cause if they happen at the same time I don't have any back-up, plus the reclamation really needs me around in order to happen.

So it is your call, if you want to send it to me I will take it down for you, question is, do you have faith we will get snow (it usually snows around Oct 31, but real snow doesn't start accumulating till early November some time), and that your tailgate will get here in time(I don't trust any shipping company that ships up north, cause it usually comes later than they say).
