Does anyone here know anything about these or have any interest in them? I notice the guy selling them is based in kelowna but the trailers seem to be back east. They look to be about the same price as the cheaper ones you can buy new here but seem a fair bit stronger.

Simon - did you ever talk to the guy?

I wonder if he has a few out west that we could look at and buy to save on shipping.

They are a little expensive but look pretty nice.

I contacted him a good 2 years ago. He told me he was going to bring some out to the west coast. I left my email address with him to contact me when they came in. Never heard back from him. Probably 6 months later I emailed again to ask about them. He answered that he had no idea when they were going to get any out west. I asked him to keep my address on file and let me know as I was really interested. Never did hear from him again.

I had a look around. Looks like there are some in Edmonton for C$850 looking a bit used and in Ottawa for C$1,000 but those ones are supposedly brand new. It also appears the ones for sale at the moment are the last of them. they were paired with the Iltis jeep so they have been disposed of along with the iltis. I would be interested in one. I have a longstanding deal with a friend to split a trailer.

My dad bought a Saturn Industries trailer out of winipeg about 15 yrs ago. It is a all steel trailer that is very strong. If I had a picture I would post it. It has a 4x8 bed.And a couple foot high sides. Trailers like these would work great. plus you can lift it to any height to clear larger tires for off road. 1/4 ton is what those military trailers are. so basically only good for camping. no hauling the crap to the dump loads. I can't spare anymore driveway space for something I can not use all time. A good trailer replaces the pick up you have sitting around.

you can put a pintle on any trailer. I too do not trust ball hitches. I use pintles when moving large aircraft. Ball is a little smoother. But I can imagine offroad you would bend the little latch underneath too much.
