I'm looking at moving my 78 fj45 ( king cab ) from Oshawa On. to Calgary.
CN cost is $1700. emergency brake must function.
It currently has a B motor with 5 speed.
My route would be north up to Thunder Bay - Kenora On. - Winnipeg -- -- Calgary.

date would likly be early Aug. The worst part is getting out of Ontario !
I would have to fly into Toronto then drive it back.
I do have a brother-in-law that has offered to take it part way !
When I'm driving it would also be great to meet some fellow Cruiser dudes for coffee along the way / support if need be ?

At this point I'm ironing the logistics out as finding a car hauler company has proven to be a challenge as many reviews are unfavourable that I have read. Though Hansens may be an option if I can get the e-brake adaptor installed.

What are your ideas ?

I would recommend reaching out to Aaron Frost with Summit Auto Transport. His work number is 866-403-1166. If he can't help, perhaps he can suggest someone that could.

He was able to get my non-running LV from CA to SC for what I felt was a fair price. I think there are several threads where people that used him speak highly of him. I know several members of Olde North State Cruisers (my local club) have also been pleased with his services.

update : Hansens refunded my $ as the e-brake was not working. At that point the mechanic put me in contact that suggested
Uship.com so I posted up what I wanted shipped and got numerous quotes to choose from.
The reviews were favourable for Aaron of Aaron Barr transport ( Canada - US.) who I chose to bring my Cruiser cross country.
