Well it is happening soon. We are starting a Northern division. The association offers training courses for proper safe and proper driving technique. We are working directly with Toyota as well as aftermarket companies to get you discount on parts and products threw organized group buys and discounted parts threw your local dealer. Hope you all check it out. Pretty good group of guys. We are also talking with the Rocky Mountain Land Cruiser Association to get them to join up.

We will be working with the government to keep trails properly maintained as well as making a point to tread lightly.

So if you guys want to be part of a responsible club check it out.

I'm sure we will have something in store for the official opening of the Northern Alberta division.

Cool, so this is Calgary-based so far? Many Cruiser guys in the club, or dominantly Runners and Tacos? I'll have to poke around the forum a bit...

So far to my knowledge I am the only one with Cruisers haha. But we are hoping to change this. As an actual sanctioned club I am sure we will attract some Cruisers. I know there are some Red Deer Area Cruiser guys interested.

It started out in Calgary and then there was a huge number of Edmonton and farther North people interested so we are having two divisions and eventually spanning a BC division.

It was originally the Calgary Toyota but we want to make a bigger impact so it is the Canada Toyota 4WD association. The forum title hasn't been changed yet. But the goal is to run smaller sections but when they get together for expiditions or wheeling trips everyone is on the same page for how to go about wheeling and how to make a good impression for people who look down on wheeling and exploring the outdoors. There will be sub sections in the forum to plan trips within the local divisions.

Sounds good, think I'll sign on to the forum, and take a look at the club.

Sounds good. Hope you can make it out for some wheeling in the future.

Little bumpy :)

Yeah I know just started off but I like the direction they are going. The Northern Division should have more vetran drivers and vehicles haha. But its also supposed to get the new guys on the right track. We just need more cruisers I'm tired of all these shinny new trucks and everyone worried about scratching paint. That will change soon enough haha.

Northern Division is a go finally will have more details up shortly

keep us posted.

Just to make sure that edmonton chapter will be operational first. If you need any help in any way PM me please.
thanks,
Ali.

Just sign up on the site for now. I would wait till we have meetings and runs set up before becoming a paid member so you get the most bang for your buck. Just join the forum and you can find out when we will be having meetings in the next little while.
