Guys I have the opportunity to buy a mint 2004 HSE Freelander with 9,000 miles for $12,000. Can these vehicles be lifted about 2 inches...if so....where can i find such a lift as I am new to the Range Rover marque?
airlaird

i would spend less than 12k and buy a 04 D2 instead. waay less problems. I am not kidding when I say that, their engines wont last past about 50-60k miles, and there are no replacements. junkyard motor or nothing.

this.....sell the freelander junk it's called free for a reason...

Freelander - junk. Go buy a Discovery, Range Rover classic, or Defender.

Modern, US market Land Rovers are a huge crapshoot to begin with, and the Freeloader was just a colossal mistake. I was once "new to the marque" too, and I wish to God I had never gone down that cash-sucking super highway of pain.

If you really want a Land Rover, get one of the diesel powered Defenders from the late 80's/early 90's that are starting to come in to the US. Solid vehicles, dependable drivetrains. They're nothing compared to a good Cruiser, but if they're well cared for they're a huge improvement over any NAS Rover product.
