My 96 runner has the locking rear...but only will lock in low range...can I by pass this?? thanks in advance...Garth

This will lock it in 4LO, 4HI and 2HI. Only a few minutes to do. But beware, you must double check the wire you're cutting. Make sure it's in the right location rather than going by color alone.

it says its for 98 and up...what about my 96???? lol
grey wires are for tacoma. iirc, its the blue/red wire for 4runners. at least thats which one i grounded when i did my mod. can lock in 2 & 4H.
